If ur up to markiting BIBF is aint ur answer coz they aint have any corses, AMA is good when it comes to marketing but u still have ahlia universty in ur hands.
BIBF is really good in finance and banking but as far as i know they dont have markiting courses other than the 2 day workshop's..

other than BIBF, UCB, UOB, BIT. nothing is accredited in bahrain, but as far as i know to a company a B.s.c is a B.s.c its doesnt matter if the crappy minestry of education has approved it or not coz more or less the B.s.c programs in most universty's in the world are the same.
but this is the way i see it.. and i dont really care.

yes dear but its 7arram to go spend ur money and your time and then they tell you sorry ur B.S.C is not valid. see its becoming very hard for bahrainis nowadays to find a job , people have masters and PhDs and their salary is crap what do you think will happen in future its very hard to find a good job especillay for bahrainis and its your basic degree so you better be careful with it. :up2:

The Bahrain Bankers Training Center was officially inaugurated on March 28,1981, and subsequently renamed the Bahrain Institute of Banking & Finance (BIBF).
Its primary mission is to provide contemporary training and education in the areas of Banking and Finance, Information Technology, Insurance, Islamic Banking, Leadership and Management, and Marketing for the Bahrain officers and staff of levy paying institutions. Bahrainis from non levy paying organizations, together with participants from other institutions within the Gulf States and the region are also welcomed on a fee paying, seat availability basis. Each year, the BIBF has increased both the number and variety of its programs in keeping with the needs of the financial community.
The BIBF provides several programs linked to international professional qualifications and is the examination center for some of these international professional bodies. The organizations, whose programs are offered include:
The Chartered Institute of Bankers (Institute of Financial Services)
The Chartered Insurance Institute (CII)
The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
International Securities Market Association (ISMA)
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (BeckerConviser CPA Review program)
The Association for Investment Mangement and Research (Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA))
The Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP)
BIBF has also forged strategic alliances with a number of academic, professional and governmental organizations, including:
The Federal Reserve Bank
Securities Training Corporation (STC)
Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia
The US Securities Exchange Commission
De Paul University, Chicago
Bentley College, Boston
In October 1983 the BIBF introduced the Banking Studies Diploma Program in the form of a series of academic evening courses at both Intermediate and Advanced levels. The Treasury Capital Markets Diploma and the Securities Investment Representative Program (Series 7 Guidelines) were introduced in 1998 to meet the increasing needs of the Investment community.
In 1986 the Department of Insurance Studies was established at the Institute to support the training and development needs of Bahrainis employed by the insurance industry. In 1997 The Islamic Banking Department was established to meet the specific needs of the Islamic Banking Sector. Both departments offer a full range of professional programs and qualifications.
The BIBF instructional staff is a select team of industry professionals with market experience and specific academic and professional qualifications. Each is particularly suited to his/her area of expertise. This expertise is augmented with workshops and seminars featuring guest speakers from international organizations as well as the local economic community.
