No MEDIA Coverage

I wanted to point out that there was no coverage of the last drag event. Why? Nothing in the newspapers or even on tv. Ok there was a little info here and there but nothing about the winners and there sponsors. This really helps us a great deal BDRC with our sponsors. Atleast if not on friday because of how late at night we finished on thursday but at least it should of been mentioned on saturday. I mean we spent alot of money and time for what... for a pat on the back from essa and 400 dinars.... NOT... Get your act together BDRC...... Follow up is important too.

I totally agree with you SB, there must be more media coverage for all motor sport events not only for the drag race.. :afro:

If I am not mistaken, I remember BDRC wanting to arragne a full media coverage and interviews with drivers and crew, but then BIC came into the picture and said NO!!!!!

Thats why BIC have recruited a new Media and PR team for these events!!! Where were they????

BIC have been giving us a big headache...

Bullet, dont worry we are following the whole situation up... We let lots of media coverage and lots of photographers film and take photos from all sorts of publications, online forums, newspapers, Btv etc... but im surprised as to not seeing much in the media...

We will have a serious talk with the media! We as BDRC want to have more coverage of our events... I have seen lots of coverage on websites such as bahraini forums etc... But still not enough to warrant giving out all those media passes!

BTW.... It was on Bahrain Sport channel last night!!!! It was a complete show about the rally and drag racing!!!!

And guess what! SILVER BULLET was in action!!!!!
