Ultima, its new, not every where like the accored, lower price spear parts and service, more options..

i dont like the new accord well not the one we have here in bahrain there another version called the acura TSX its called the accord in the uk it look alot better as for looks altima and dont forget the altima has the same engine as the 350z

the ultima has a biger heart(2.5 liter) and it hase more options than the accored.

resale falue for both is high due to being Japanease and there both in the same range of price. but dont forget that the nissan is lower in price in turmes of metainance and parts..

Dear Sweet member, no matter what other people tell you its alway personal opinion, when they state there opinion's read them and see what makes more sens to you, and then you compare both products your self and see what suites you mor enad gor for it, with both cars you have in mind you cant go wrong coz they both are good relible cars and both are the same more or less.

I feel for you sis, I really do, it's a hard choice and you're bound to get two differing opinions, I won't give mine as I don't know enough about either of them to comment. At the end of the day, it's you who has to drive the car, and you who has to make the choice, can you not have a few test drives in both and see which one fits? Over here a major factor in a choice like this would be fuel consumption but I guess it's not so important over there.

i hate datsuns ... all datsuns even the altima with the 3.5 engine (z350's machine) sucks !!
the accord is quite good and sexy .... but its now everywhere in bahrain !!
so.. for me i prefer buying a lumina LS or LTZ :bigok: even the S version looks perfect :up: ... but i dunno if u prefer american cars or not ... + its resale is :down2:

why are you asking about the temprature it's not like you're gonna race 10 times a day..! don't worry... the heat is just fine.. and the engine is just an engine..!

you want my advice go for the C200 Kompressor or the SC... we don't have alot of SCs in bahrain... and there is the SLK but it's a 2 seater..!

you didn't Consider the saftey in the Issue..!!!! the japanese are not really well engineered in Saftey... go for BENZ, MERCEDES!! if you got more money to waste go for the C230 Kompressor!!.....

The altima is nice and u said its full option but i dont know how nice it is to drive where the drivablity of the accord is more relaxing..

Think of it as make up or clothes or whatever a girl is into... the car wont get damaged unless u do something bad to it...

the honda low option doesnt have a roof that opens, no aluminum rings only caps, 1 cd changer the others have six, no control over the ac for the back seaters. but it has the ABS or AVS brake system but i think the altima dont so what do you think?

the fully loded ultima 2.5 has way more otion than the accored in the same price, and it does have the ABS break system, i still think the ultima is the better bang for the Buck...

u'll need the ABS alot :) ... so go for the accord ..

Well, lets seeeee,

First of all the altima 2.5 does not have the same engine as the 350z but the 3.5 does...

At the end of the day the better service in bahrain is with Honda... I have an Acura, thats lasted 14 years and still does drifts and picks up like hell.. Johnnybravo M3 and LuminaSS_73 will confirm that hahah.. and if anything ever goes wrong its ready usually the same day. The TSX is nice, ill agree but the new Legend (a.k.a Acura RL 2005) is a beaut. its got the NSX engine with 300bhp and redlines at 6800rpm. Honda's are made to last longer except and this is true for all honda legend, integra,accord vigors and preludes (dunno a civic that is 7 years old?) that anyone ive ever known has had in between 7-10 years your gearbox will start to skip 2nd gear and will need an overhaul costing between 200-300bd otherwise there are no real problems you will get.

Anyways back to the topic, althought the 2.5 Altima is a nice car, I personally think its a bit too family, whereas the accord has a little more sport appeal shapewise.

At the end of the day if your talking the 2.4 accord versus the 2.5 Altima (both inline 4) the altima has 15 more bhp and has more space in terms of seating.

But if you can get the 2004 3.0 accord V6 for cheaper cause its last years model, and tell honda you know me cause all my cars are honda's hahah then definately the accord.

There you go bloodline, I have supporters that say honda has great service compared to nissan, toyota is very good but if i was too put the service and luxury in order it would go

Honda cause they're cars are more luxurious than toyota but the service is more or less the same.

And yes I have had all those cars and have tried all the services. Toyota Corolla, to Honda Legend to Nissan NX Coupe and Nissan Patrol to Honda MRV to Imported Acura Legend.
