Ferrari are working hard to have their new car ready by the end of January. Jean Todt, who was at the Bologna Motorshow, said: "We would like to launch the new car before the end of January and to have its debut on the first race."
With the new 2004 regulation, an engine must last for an entire Grand Prix weekend and Ferrari must test the new power plant in order to be ready for next season.
The biggest problem is that the upcoming 2004 053 Ferrari engine is still on a test rig in Maranello.
