Ferrari are aiming to have their new car up and running for the opening leg of the 2004 season, the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne on March 7.
But with McLaren already testing their new MP14-19 car and Williams set to test their FW26 in January Ferrari team boss Jean Todt revealed they too were hoping to have their 2004 model in use for the F1 curtain raiser in Australia.
