Help with my 900RR

Hey guys,

I've just joint the bikers club ... :up:

I just got my self a brand new 1997 Honda 900RR ( only 1300 miles on it ) and was thinking in getting a lowering kit with an exhust system on for starts... could you please advise me how mush it well cost and where can i get it from.

Okay first of all i must say TRAITOR!!! you betrayed your loyal car freaks!! then i will say MABROOK DUDE!! and WELCOME to the BIKERS CLUB.. so u a member with BMC now? lol

Okay..for starters i would need to know what you want from the bike so that i could suggest to you what you will need to install?
For example..if you needed it just to cruise..then a lowering kit is not a good idea.. if you wanted it for turns..wheelies..etc then the same applies..
But if you wanted to run it on drag..and race..etc.. then here is my suggestions..
As you know Honda is a very good bike and easy to ride.. so parts for it are usually cheap.. you can visit this site and see www.cbrzone.com where it carries alot of parts for honda and at very cheap rates.. i deal with them so i can help you there.
a lowering kit should cost about BD20 to 40 only which will give you two options on the same kit 2" lowered or 4" lowered.. this lowering kit is for the rear only.. for the front i can show you a trick where you will not need to buy the straps.. if you still want straps i think they are for BD12.
As for the Exhaust what would you like? a full system or a slip on? my suggestion for an exhaust is either ARATA or AKRAPOVIC.. you can also go for TWO BROTHERS.. theses exhausts are a little on the expensive side but have been proven to give you the increase in HP.. for a slip on you would gain 10-12HP and a full system will give you 18-22HP increase but you would need to tune the bike to the exhaust which is easily done. I would also suggest that you buy a K&N air filter which will last you in this country for 5yrs at the cost of BD40.. if you think about it.. the orginal stock must be replaced in this country (wind/dust/etc) every 6-8 months @ BD18 but the K&N is washable so you save money.
My other suggestion (wow..im suggestion alot and costing you money! lol) is to top all this up with a stage 1 DYNO JET for your carbs and you will have a very nice performing bike which will run well.
Let me know what you would like or where you want your bike to be and ill help you get there.. if you want to make it a 7 second bike it will cost you BD2000 dinars.. pistons..and a turbo plus stage one NOS.. cheap hu? cheaper than a car dude.. :buttkick:

okay guys at least I got sarz on my side regarding this Jesus replys from SilverSS...

the reason why I did this is I know if I am the only one to stop this and stop SIlverSS from saying it the whole members will go crazy on me and try to be defensive and act stupidly like before.

I know SilverSS is messing up with threads by posting such things in many diffrent threads for his own enjoyment.

and the reason I did this is I wanted to reply back to SilverSS in his own thread and see his reaction but seems like he doent give damn...
