ok guys. Firstly the earth is spinning in a clockwise direction. The pressure it creates is clockwise so therefore in the northern hemisphere we have our gravity force turning clockwise. this force in meteoroligical terms is called coriolis force. in the southern hemisphere as you staind wheels said correctly the force is anti clockwise. Assuming we stand on the south pole and look up at the north. The earth in this case is turning left. hence water draining anti clockwise cause the pressure always starting at the poles. In countries over the equator, the force is neutral therefore the water drains straight down without any spinning... Thats nature for you guys...

I think the word pressure is wrong isnt it? The word "magnetic flux" would be more appropriate!

It is actually called hemospheric coriolis force.. but i didnt want to get too technical bro.
