Alright, Ninjaboy, now I feel like you want me to tell you my life story. That is how much my life is linked to my bikes. My first ever bike was in the year 1974. My father surprised me with a 50cc Honda, which I have to say I looked at for a whole year and then rode it for the first time when I was 5 years old. And from 75 to 80 I probably owned 3 or 4 of the same bike. I think because my dad was renting out the showroom for the Honda dealer in Bahrain, he got really good prices so he kept buying us kids bikes from the Honda dealer. And in the 80's I owned mostly 80cc off-road dirt bikes, and 125 and 250's, all Hondas. In the mid-80's after my older brother had a major accident, in which he broke his arm, shoulder, collar-bone and ribs, the family decided no more bikes for the kids because it was too dangerous. In 1990 I went to the States to study flying. When the flight school introduced me to my flight instructor, he rolled in on a racing bike to the dispatch, and two weeks later he got me into racing bikes. My first was a 350cc and from there I went to the 600, 750, 900, and 1100's. The last racing bike I had was a Smokin' Joe 900RR, which I imported from the States to Bahrain where I sold it and it still here owned by a friend. In 1999 I went to Harley's (cruisers). I had a 1998 springer, a 1994 sportster, 1992 heritage softtail, a 1998 heritage softtail, and my latest one is a 2003 V-rod(anniversary), which you all know. Now let's see, which of all these was my favorite? If I absolutely HAVE to choose one, I would go with my 98 springer. But if I don't have to choose one yet, I would have to say that my favorite has not yet been built, lol.

Ninjaboy, you think you're exempt from this question? What was your favorite bike? How many bikes did you own? I'm sure it's hard to remember them all.

Well. lets see. Did you have to remind me of my age.. hahaha.
ok. I had a friend in mahooz and he had a yamaha 90. His dad was a sheikh and he had a very big garden. i used to go there a lot at the age of 9. that was in 1976.
Then gradually from trial bikes 125 suzuki, 250 suzuki, i got my learners permit at the age of 15, cause i had my age changed to 2 years older in the law courts. Then i bought a Honda CB750k from a friend in 1982. It was a very fast bike for those days. Then came the Hondacb900f2. I got that one after selling the 750. In motorcycle news i saw the new kawasaki GPZ750turbo. Sold my honda and got the GPZ750 turbo. In 1984, got a GPz900r. That was a bullet. In 1986 got a GPz 1000RX. Then i sold it and went to england. There i was riding a piece of east german shiit called MZ250. I saved money and bought a GT750 for my work. I was a despatch rider in london for 5 years. Then i got another GPz1000rx. Then ZX10(The older version). Then the ZZr1100 when it first came out. Sold it and when i returned to Bahrain i bought the newer version of ZZR1100 (D1). Now I have a ZX10r and a ZX12r.
As you see, i love kawasakis.
Now for my most favourite, i guess it had to be the GPz 1000RX, cause i did my motorcycling course on it. raced a lot on the tracks ( Brands Hatch, Donnigton Park and Mallory Park) with it. It really taught me how to handle bikes at very high speeds and cornering.. Actually i miss it....
Wow what a life..

So Hot Rodder. Apart from biking we have something else in common too.. FLYING.. You're the man, bro... :tucmo:

I remember the German thing you tried to convince yourself was a bike, and I remember how pleased you were when you got the other one but I honestly don't think anything compared to your love affair with the red Ninja !!!
