I'm sure all you guys have heard by now that the european drag racing teams will eb coming to bahrain for a big bonanza in November?

First of all.... the BIC are trying all there best to show case to you one of the best sports in europe.... but everything comes with a cost.

i don't who told you that 100 cars are coming.... it was already planned that only the 2 or 3 of each class will be invited which is about 15-20 cars plus bikes.

EBI

Then it must cost alot.

Silver SS

Then it must cost alot.
Each team or car has a 24ft truck with all his equipment. and the top fuel teams and pro mods have a 40ft truck.... so you would imagin the cost of that.

but BIC are really trying and we should support them as they have shown the drag racing club that they care for this sport and any other motor sport

Oh well... then I totally agree. We should support them and look forward to seeing all our GCC teams and drivers here on taht day.

I think it will be a kick asssss event!! These 15 or so cars are gonna attract alot of GCC attention!!!! I think our brothers around the gulf are gonna steal the show on that day!!!

to transport a race car from europe to bahrain by sea in a container or have the in a support veichle that is driven on a "role on role off" boat can cost from 800bhd to 2000bhd ...so yes it is a matter of cost ...i think,..

For once your right...

Some of the guys who went came back with good memories in BARS....moreover, I still havent got or heard anything useful from those SOME who went to all three trips....regarding timing as far as I'm concern...

oh well....welcome to Bahrain!

Dear BlackZ

You are right, but please let's not stamp on people's parades, let's just hope BDRC can implement rules and regulations and standardize procedures to the best professional standards possible.

I dont beleive its the organization thats the problem, I think it the general racing public that need to be hammered into perspective and shown the correct way, which is the only way!

Secondly, they sent a timing guy the first time and it was discovered that they used the same system we did in bahrain, unfortunately.... the same procedure could not be implemented here due to some technical descripencies BDRC faced at BIC!

The problem is, after the first trip, BDRC did not send any more timing people!!! This is the 3rd trip and still no one from timing went!!

15-20 car is a very good no. what do you people want to do with 100 car. dont forget the other cars that will be there form saudi arabia, emirates and kuwait. we should be worried about the quality not the quantity. anyway big thanx for BDRC for giving us the chance to see race cars of this level.

4ced... what the club decides to do with its training strategies is no ones business! Thats the way it should be!

What's important is answering peoples question like:

Where are the national championship results and rankings!
