Q: does SE W800i support 3GP format?

i'm thinking of getting a sony ericsson w800i ,but i have a question.. does it play 3gp video formats? plz help:pray:

let me tell you one info..
the standard format for video in our region is 3gp,
so any video u see around is 3gp..
while new mobiles they added mpeg4..
and nokia symbian mobiles u can play also real player format..

in japan , and some other asian countries,
they use .mov, which is quiktime format..

also, few unknown mobile for us, i know they use in taiwan,
use AVI and MPEG format.... i want one of those :eyecrazy:
as they said, DVD quility..

i know i gave you more than what u need, but i thought
u might like to know this info:D

Isn't that suppose to depend on the software that plays a certain type of files not the device itself?

no....but it plays 3gp , mpeg4(mp4).
