Don't look for a carbon-fiber body and aluminum hydroformed frame on the new C6 Corvette - they're reserved for the Le Mans effort. But shown here is the latest spy photo of the C6 Corvette coupe, photographed just hours ago.

Evolutionary rather than revolutionary, the double-bubble roof contrasts with knife-edge fenders fore and aft that extend into the doors, a la the '63-'67 'Vette. Door-handle cutouts in the rear fenders and a squared-off gas filler door are part of a crisper, sharper profile. Ultra low-profile run-flats on new five-spoke rims and drilled rotors hint at a new performance level.

Expect the new Corvette to be introduced at the 2004 Detroit Auto Show in January, and to arrive in dealer showrooms by next fall.

this car iz excpected 2 be shown in january or june 2004 in detroit car show and they r gonna be sold for $55,000

its engine iz a better kind of tha forth generatin (GEN-IV) LS1 type with 8 cyl (V) and gives out about 400HP and for sure information they r gonna improve tha Z06 type and its gonna give out more than 500+HP :spaz:

yes you are right STRIKER the hp is 400 for a bone stock .. and the price Increased by $10k
