The seeding system for the 2008 European Championship has been revealed by Uefa ahead of next weeks qualification draw.
Euro 2004 winners are among the top group of seeds, but heavyweights Germany, Italy and Spain are not, which could set-up some mighty tough groups.
There will be six groups of seven teams and one of eight, with the top two teams from each group qualifying for the finals, which are being hosted by Austria and Switzerland, who qualify automatically.
