View Full Version : Which is Faster a Corvette Z06 (5.7 V8) or C6 (6.0 V8)

The ZO6 has the LS6 Engine (5.7L)V8 405bhp but the C6 has LS2 Engine (6.0L)V8 400bhp.Which do u think is faster?????

GM has definately underrated the HP in the new C6 they are using the same cylinder head thats in the 405hp ZO6 with a wilder cam and instead of being on a 5.7liter its on a 6.0liter with 10.9 compression ratio vs 10.3 compression ratio, I am sure the car makes 400WHP not 400bhp. It will definately beat the ZO6.

im reading bout it in MOTOR TREND magazine right now...

doesnt say if its stronger than the C5 z06 but theres gonna be a z06 version of this which is actually kinda scary just readin bout :bigok:

and the auto transmission is only 4-speed (if any of u are actually interested in that).

I would go for one but they changed the lights from disappearing headlamps to plain old normal ones whichi think is a shame cuz its kinda like a corvette traditional touch... oh well... theyre xenon though for anyone that wants that...
