Anyway its not just a pipe and 2 glasses :thinking2
We have a pipe with a primary mirror concave in shape collecting light and focussing it at a focal point and a secondary mirror to reflect the collected light at right angle to the pipe and there an eye piece or digital camera can be installed to see the object. the tripod is made of wood with a weight to balance the telescope weight as shows in the picture.
if there is something else you would like to know just ask :D

bs el 9ara7a its a great achievement, im not sure how big the extent of it is but it seems to be a big deal, and i hope to see the rest of the country follow through in bringing up the name of bahrain
