I was driving my E class and I was feeling that it was heavy and doesn't shift properly and smoothly so I took the car to the dealership and they said I lost power in the engine and they will change alot of **** in it and it will cost me 400bd :motz2:

I have no idea.. probably because of using it alot (long trips).. anyway, that proves benzos are not reliable.

it happens commonly on BMW's, especially the M models because of our dirty air! What happens is that the MAF sensor get dirty and therefore the wrong readings are send to the Engine management computer, so u feel the car losing power. That can happen on Benz cars.

But on M powered cars (drive by wire systems), it causes the engine to go into LIMP mode which keeps the car from over revving and any damage to the throttle system and air intakes. And thats why you floor it but no power, and the car can jerk violently trying to keep the rev down in all gears!!!

i hate computers, more **** to go wrong!!!!

I just got the car back.. i gota admit it feels good and very fast compared to before, i can feel the difference. Although they ripped me off, i feel a bit happy now. They changed alot of **** from air mass something to spark plugs and ****. :bigok:

another problem may be your o2 sensors. Its a common problem too!
