yeah, why wont an STi or Wrx be registered in bahrain?........stock ones that is. they are just as powerful as evo's.

maybe u could register an impreza here , with some contacts here & there , but if it's not converted of course !!
if they were smart and found out that it was RHD u won't be able to register it ... and no u won't get that much trouble with oman or saudi plates ...:up:

u can take an RHD impreza to the factory in uae before bringing it to bahrain
convert it to LHD since there r LHD imprezas... normal ones not sti or wrx
and i guess it's gonna be alright if everything is changed...

there is no problem registering an ORIGINAL left hand drive car in bahrain..

for the most part that is..


but if it's right hand drive.. or a Right hand drive CONVERTED to a left hand drive...

they wont register the car... due to yaza3m safety regulations

u can keep the car UAE plates.. and drive it in bahrain tho...

for example...

if ur WRX or EVO or Supra is US spec original left hand drive.. no problem

but since ur getting it from UAE.. chances are that it's a stolen car from Japan brought by container.. and it's Right hand drive.. then u'll have a problem..

the dead give away is the VIN numbers

take my RX7 for example..

US spec rx7 starts JM1FD33
J spec rx7 would start FD33

it's *POSSIBLE* to trick the maroor into thinking it was original left.. but it would take a hell of alot of effort and detail and might not be worth it in the end..

if the car was made LHD then buy it that way... unless it's a car like the skyline which never came LHD.. then u don't have a choice... but otherwise u do
