I'm impressed! This talk of wheel spin and not being able to get the rear to squat and put down some power is probably true if you are using the original suspension for the S-chassis, but if you fabricate it with straight line driving in mind, the possibilities are endless. If you were at test and tune last night and saw that Altima with the mustang 5.0, the theory of not being able to hook up is out the door. That car was hooking up and making buttloads of tire smoke, and it ran pretty good from what I saw. If you are concerned with weight distribution, that's what they make lead plates for. That front end suspension you see on this unique 240SX is definitely not stock. I wouldn't be surprised if those front spindles are custom 2" drop types for GM cars you can find in the classic V-8 tuner magazines, and that turn radius- that definitely isn't stock. Some thinking went into this creation.

I'm inspired! Sarz, you know what I've been talking about!

why do you think i posted this here then?

I love the Idea you've been talking about, I love hyprid swaps.

what I would love to see is an MX-5 with a Kick ass LS1 or and RX-7 with that.

hopefully one day i'll be able to pull such a swap.

Sarz- Good stuff! When u get going on the rebuild, text me. As the 200SX project comes to a completion in about a month and a half, I'm going to b sourcing a late model 5.0 donor mustang, but for now, I'm just getting as much info on tuning possibilities and out of the box chassis tuning/design. For the next project, I'm gonna want 2 b able to run it on the strip and throw that ass out whenever the occasion hits. I'll just b happy to b jack of all trades, but master of none with this project we've been talking about. I checked out monster miata and saw the picture of the miata running down the Ferrari at Buttonwillow Springs in Cali. I love the unexpected!
