here is some pic of my Home Made Traction Bar for 93 DelSol and the steps to make one ;)

first buy the parts (2 left thrid and 2 right thrid)

open these

weld the the clamp to it

fix the clamp on other side

fix these and take the measurement between them

go to the work shop with ur measurement and make 2 bars.
and dont forget to jack the arm up befor tighten it
thats it :thumbup:

wrong my friend yassry did the first one speaking about dana .

As u can see in figure1 the Lower Control Arm is supported from one side only which will allow the wheel to bounce forward and backward under heavy load.

in figure2 you will see how the traction bar (Red) is holding the LCA from the other side to prevent the wheel from bouncing.

Welding isnt that strong and tends to crack. why didnt you droll the U joint n bolt it or use large countersunk rivets?

if its welded by a good welder then no worries :up:

yes, but under shearing loads or torshional loads, welding is known to crack. but since its a crx, im sure they will hold since they dont produce alot of torque. very nice job man.

try driving the car using a remote control............u can reduce the weight of the car with u not in it


is this how slow your machine is u got to reduce the weight to make it go faster



Hint: try taking the doors and fenders off
