It could be worn bearings like Thug mentioned, but you’re not helping with telling us that the engine sounds like a 6 wheel. Explain to us where the sound is coming from and when it happens try explaining every thing about the operating condition about the car and im sure some one will be abele to help you.

there is no sound when i start the engine, when i change the gear to ((D)) and i'm holding the brake, i hear the 6wheel sound, when the gear is in ((P)) the sound is like the stock... :spaz:

When you drive the car in D is the sound still there? Tray it in R could be the torque converter :pat: If it’s the torque converter don’t do any thing before you tell me I’ll tell you what to do.

ok put it in N..rev it till 4000rpm then shift to D..do it a few times when the car stops moving call a tow truck...then find a garage and change the trans..:lildevil:

Hi Mamady,

First of all you should know what's wrong with your LT1, Seconed you should manage the budget you got. I can say yes for the LS1 but why not LT1 for a good low budget and a good mild street engine, you should think about how much will it coast you to set the LS1 with the harnesse and PCM and use a diffrent Transmission housing then for sure you want to moddy your LS1 so that can coast too much, so instead of that you can refresh your LT1 with a whole engine kit (wayed er5ee9) and start playing with some good pair of Heads and a wilde cam that can kick your car from 3000-6500 (dont worry about the cam sound) and you can choose your car gear converter by the car wieght and Engine specs and for sure you'll need a good transmission kit, and then we can talk about Editing your PCM. alot of words but it can take you to 480+hp but low tourque but a very good budget, and the rest of the part cant be done by a custom made here in bahrain.

I know that am too late for thise but am a new member here, and any tech questions will be a good meal for me.
