1) happy and content in your life
2) really religious
the above 2 done go hand in hand in todays world, usually really religious people r really frustrated to whats happening in todays world cuz everything seems to go against their wants and beliefs so happiness is out of the question.. and to keep it short
ill take filthy rich plz :D

Can't you be an antheist that does good deeds?
Either way, 4ced - Hats off to you for the most meaningless thread - there is no link between religion and good deeds... look around you... the rich are getting richer and poor are getting poorer... at the end of the day, in front of God our mustawaa is all the same ... but on Earth, there are a lot of religious people who pray and fast,etc... but are stingy and screw ppl out of money and land, etc...

these people arent religious. these ppl are doing what theyre doing to show off that theyre religious. i meant would u rather be religious FOR REAL, or be rich with no religion. thats the question. if you think its meaningless well then maybe you should go enjoy the men only thread or whatever

Only the most faithful will be able to choose the two hand in hand.. you have not said anything other than repeated what Allah swt has already said 4cd.
There are those who will chose the world, and those who will chose the end.
I therefore, will always choose the end, as life is nothing but a test of faith.
May allah swt guide u all

la, you see things and you think of things. since ive been here ive been hustling hustling makin money and so far its been going pretty ok... money from the job has been fine, money from a few online businesses ive been working on is fine. then i turn around and tell myself, is that all im working for? money? spending all my time on it? i havent been praying, i havent been doing anything cuz all i think about is $$$.
then i see some people here, muslims, not arabs, and you how strong their faith is. theyre not pretending to be muslims like what we have in the "muslim world", these guys are the real deal. and you hear them talking about things and you think.. damn..
anyway, no matter how hard you work for it, money can disappear anytime...

Strange innit.. you leave a muslim country and find devoted muslims in a non muslim country who are minority.

i dont remember which writer said it... but it went something like this:
i went to the east, and saw the muslims,
but i went to the west, and saw islam
thats the thing. muslims here arent muslims because they "have to be" in the eyes of society. anyone can choose not to. but if theyre actually sticking to it, you know how strong thats gonna be
imagine in bahrain, if all the people were taken to some other country with no islam... how many would REALLY stick to their religion?

November 13th, 2006, 08:41 PM
the thing is, you can feel the unity in them.. you can feel their strength as muslims. and theyre not the kind who go to a mosque to pray, then go out at night 3agra ou swalef on each other, and turn at every girl that passes by etc... no... their whole life revolves around being good muslims. they always help each other out, help strangers, make changes in society. u know

Well, there you go then. On judgement day, confront Allah, and tell him, i did all the good deeds in my life, but i didnt believe in you. And when judgement day comes, you will feel like a right nitwit for not believing in Allah, when you stand before him to be judged for your actions :)
get my drift? if not, i could powerslide :D
