lately i have been getting pm's from the moderators and some of the members regarding the carried away threads and insults by some of our members and to be honest i had enough ..
for one thing why doesn't anyone even bother to read the rules before posting or joining a forum ?
regarding bad words and insulting other members here u go :
1. Expletives
Expletives (swear words) are not allowed, and for good reason. Many people are deeply offended by vulgar language. If you feel you must swear to get your point across, please censor your language appropriately so as to not be overly offensive. (e.g., "S***!") Replacing one or two letters in an expletive by using ASCII characters (! for I, etc) is not an acceptable solution.
2. Flames or Derogatory Insults
Flames or derogatory insults are strictly against the rules. If you disagree with another member's point of view, do so in a mature and civil manner. If someone posts to discuss their personal problems or seek help from other forum members, please do not respond unless you have something positive or helpful to add. If you find yourself being flamed or insulted by another member, please do not dignify that person with a response. Notify a moderator and let us handle it. If you feel you must respond to a flame or insult directly, please do NOT do so on the board. Use private messages or e-mail.
Suggestion: If you are particularly irritated by another member's posting habits and are constantly fighting the urge to flame them, you can click on that person's profile, and select "Add to ignore list." This will make that person's posts invisible to you.
Regarding porno and sex threads here is another one :
4. Porn
Porn is not welcome here. Pictures showing nudity may be allowed in our off-topic section if an appropriate "Not Work Friendly" warning is posted in the subject line, and the picture is at worst, "R-rated." "X-rated" pictures, sites, or links are and will remain strictly against the rules.
11. Poop/Violence/Sex Threads
"Poop" threads, or similarly immature and offensive topics (graphic sex, specific sex act, violence, snuff films or violent sexual acts) will not be allowed.
so what now ?? do u need to read even more ?
keep one thing in mind if you dislike a member or have a personal problem with him deal with it using PM's donot post your anger in public as thats not the right place for it and you will be causing GulfGt a bad name.
Take this seriosuly because you will leave us no choice but to start being very strict towards our rules ..
we have given our members here freedom that you dont find easily around so dont abuse it :nono:
you have a problem with this thread or me you can always PM TAG and he will be more than glad and ready to reply back ..
