although i don't know who that baby is.. he wasn't there that night..

BUT

i can vouch for the car... Because me and bashar were the ones that tuned it...

when it arrived on the flat bed.. it made 50rwhp on the first run..

6 runs and 1.5hrs later... we put down this on our last run... we were all very pleased with the result...

shaker's english isn't very good.. but he gets his point across and is a really nice guy and great to deal with.. i would recommend him to any of the Toyota guys...


the car is an old dastun 160G with a ford rear end ... after realizing how much power they're making... they're considering a Tube chassis

should be a quick car in the drag when it's done...

I gotta give the guys props... considering the conditions they work in.. they did a good job

The pics are showing now. My god, it looks like a beast. Love the painjob, and it looks like a great clean engine bay. Good job Otto on the car. Are they planning to take it to the track anytime soon?

as you can in the dyno sheet... there is serious ignition break up in the upper RPM band... we need to change the plugs and re-gap them.. but didn't have the ones we wanted on hand.. so we had to make due with what we had...

so the 559 is not Peak Horses.. the motor can go more....


hopefully they can finish the chassis re-enforcements soon and then take it to a test and tune...

Yea, i noticed the really harsh drop. Its a great project. Simple car, with a reliable build. Good luck Otto :)

Thats it! the car is surely a beast, but.. this is nothing compared to the 2jz monsters made by shaker.. as said before, this guy has a clean heart and is the best 2jz mechanic in the gulf region hands down.. i would recommend him to anyone with a japanese engine, even a RB series!
