Thanks to the experts .....the bridgestone potenza is what on the car now, it is nice but a bit hard on the road..it gives you the noise but very stable...you are right it is a good tire..
The yokohama have no idea about it, is it soft and gives you smooth ride...you see what i am looking for is a comfort ride i am not in to racing you see i go fast some times..so comfort is the main thing..if any one has an idea please let me know ....thanks to all

is it really worth it? i mean, u will spend on gas and all the customs to go get the tires from saudi, when that difference is what u pay to buy them from here?

Bying from saudi is better in one thing , Most of their garages have FRESH tires , dont be cheated with OLD produced tires , chech out the week and year of production at the sidewall (31EY05 = the week 31 of the year 2005)
old tires are hard and noisy
if you dont like the Potenza (like me , i tried it before) try the Turanza , it is a good combination between Stability and Softness , very smooth tires.
if you found fresh tires "06" in BH go for it , otherwise , find a fresh set any other place

Thanks to all...The topic is getting hot which is nice ..keep it up you experts..i think like the idea that the tires are fresh in saudia and most of all that they are cheaper than bahrain...this is what they call CHEAP AND BEST ..THE THING IS THAT IN SAUDIA IS THE CORRECT PRICE AND IN BAHRAIN THE THINGS ARE OVER PRICED ..am going for the softer tires HOPE I WELL GET THEM OVER THERE ..are the softter tires better grip..Turanza is this bridgstone..

Forget the price , just think about a piece of rubber which been in the store for 2 years (or more) , they will loose their smoothness and make noisy sound
try searching here before you go , maybe you find some fresh juices :D , but in saudi , they change tires too much , so most of the stock they have is new
and yes , turanza is brigestone , check out the GR-80 if it is available for the z specs

Thanks bro for the info the new stock is very important...the tires on my car have only done normal ride 12700 km only and they are hard because the car has not been used much..the car is 2004 modle..the original tires are Bridgestone Potenza..and they look as good as new..but the drive is hard..that is way i am looking for softer tires...thanks again

i heard people got their 350z's out of the dealer with tire noise... and some changed them on warrenty, but still had the noise....
my ex 350Z also was the same, when i was about to buy it from the owner, before i drive it, he told me about the tires that been noisey since he got the car out from the dealer.
so i guess it's from the car it self, or from bridgeston, the size which is on the 350z?
as i also seen a top gear video, the guy complaining about the tire noise inside the car.... you may find the video somewhere here...
this is just for your info..... you may also ask Z owners who got the car out from dealer.....

Thanks Mr Aryan..good information so you suggest that i dont buy the brigestone tires..what should i go for..then..
you think the nissan company did put the noisy tires so the car well feel more sporty drive like race car or what is there problem..they should have solved this problem by now or they well solve it when thier stock of tires run off.haa haa joke,,....on my last service they told me to get the tires from the dealer but i had this feeling about buying the same tires..
well the problem is still there...i am back to what kind of tires well solve the problem..if the new tires well give me the same noise then my existting tires have done only 12700km so thier still life in them...how about the perreli tires..are they any good ..i well go and search for the top gear vidio..

well, i don't suggest the bridgestone....
- i had the RE040 from the factory on my Civic type R, it had good grip, noise that can't be noticed....it was nice
- 2 years later i changed to the new model RE050, it was more comfy, much less noise, but changed the handling (in turning, the response became worse)... (around 60-70BD each?, can't remember)
- few months later i tried the Michelin PS, gripped perfect, hadling was perfect... very comfortable. (around 100BD each tire)
- last month i put 18" wheels on the type R and came with Falken tires... don't even think about it. doesn't have any noise, other than that, it's very bad...(this is cheap tire, you'll get it for 25BD maybe)
- tried PS2 on my brothers M5 (18" wide tires), been happy with it...
- tried Nitto 555 on my STi, 19", and tried it on my ex Civic 17"... (around 55BD) and happy with it...
if you go to www.tirerack.com , you can see tire reviews and you may compare between them.
hope this help
