Registration in KSA

I know it doesn't sound very logical but can a foreigner living in Bahrain register a car in Saudi?? Somebody told me that many people with modded cars do this. They take their cars to Saudi and register it there because there the registeration is not so strict as it is here in Bahrain.

They bring cars from KSA, UAE and mod it as if there is no tomorrow and after that they register it and pay the fees near the border between Bahrain and KSA.. without checking the car.

if u don't have an address in KSA.. it'll be hard to register a car there under your name


especially for us non arabic speaking folk... Saudi is really hard to get by in

if u sell the car to a person u trust , then he transfear it to saudi plates , then u buy it back from him ...and take it to bahrain , but that means u will need to come to KSA to do all your papers .
