Hello guys

I want to apply some anti rust coating on the floor pans underneath the crapet of my 72 camaro, so I am wondering what type or brand is available here in the Gulf area..

I know there is a nice product called POR-15 that is available in the USA, I am not sure if this product is available here or not..

Is there any decent product that you guys know of as a protective coating against rust?

Thanks in advance

there's plenty of Under-seal in a can type of stuff u can by.. u just spray it on and let it dry...

your other option is to take it to a place like Zeibart and have it professionally done.. they can even inject it inside doors trunk pillars etc...

there is some rustoleoum in a can here in bahrain but i dont know how well it really works, you should get a good job done on your car as it some what older.
i wouldnt recomend using a dremel on your brakes that sounds way to risky, i would go with ottos hard braking

wirebroosh o gaaz :D

How worried are you about them getting dirty? seriously? How often to you take the discs on your car for a clean up?

Lots of crap is going to get collected in there, just like it does, and yes, some corrosion will occur. But only so slight, as to fall off as dust.

Tameem, laykoon feek weswaas when it comes to ur ride?

Dont worry about it bro.

I was joking about the wirebrush. Dont do it. The insides are coated with a protective and sacrificial layer, and if you scrub it off, ur exposing the internal material, and it will start to corrode.

just a rough towel and some kerosine should do the job.

Its spotty, so what. It will get removed under braking.

You think ur weswasi? I know someone who made the accessories shop rip apart the cars door, and take off the windows to tint them, just to get it perfect.

Dont worry bro, these parts are built to last for a long time :)

unfortunately this is Bahrains climate extreme humidty so everything tends to rust very quickly new or old, what you can do if your bikes are sat in a garge for long periods wife out use, is buy a anti humidty bag, to keep them so they wont deterate and your brakes will keep nice and clean with no rust,
even when im repairing parts to my vette if i dont prime the metal very quickly it will have started to rust after just 7 hours
