What exactly is the difference between the two?

How much do they go for here?

I dont think there is a difference. I always thought they are both the same cars, probs just get different names in the state and here. Wait for White Zombie to reply. He loves these cars.

some caproces came with 305ci, all SS came with 5.7 LT1 1993+.

the SS looks much much better.

sarz there are caprice SS 94-96

in short words :

Imaplla SS = made for america
Caprice SS = made for GCC

no diffrence bitween them but in the rear panel u will see some of them Caprice SS and the others Impalla SS

maybe the ECU is diffrent i dont know but its the same engine,same tranny and same rear end

350ci,4L60-E and 8.5" if im not mistaken about the rear end

this is truth but the caprice is made from long time ago with a diffrent name(impalla) just like trans am and firebird a lil bit diffrent in here and there,but the new generation caprice(2000+) is australian and u dont see this model in america because they got holden,and they got the real impalla and we got impalla sh!t called caprice and the ppl in the GCC fell in love with australian sheep :sheep:
