just came back from kuwait, we really had fun... we went in my friends Mini cooper S works...
we saw this benz CL behind me and kicking it, and i kicked it, i left him too far behind, then he came up next to me on the traffic light and were asking if we would like to race "a friendly race" his Mini cooper which is at home... we parked somewhere and asked him about his cooper, and he said it's moded cooper S...and said that he beat 350Z, and some other fast cars!! i was like wow!! what do you have on your car!?!?
this is both cars mods...
cooper S works, stock 200hp
cooper S 163hp, he got after market headers, borla exhaust system, after market air intake...
when we went to his house to see the cooper and go for the race, i asked him to open the hood to see what's in it when i realized a vacoum hose in the air intake, i was like hmmmm, maybe he got a boost gauge? i looked inside the car and there was nothing extra only a red botton!!! i didn't say anything..
when we asked him to race from dead zero, he was like noo, i have too much wheel spin, lets do it rolling 30km, we said noo, then he said rolling 30km and i'll let you go then i'll catch up... HERE i asked my friend to ask him open the hood again and ask him about the hose, the kuwaiti guy didn't open it.. when my friend saw the red botton and asked him about it, and the kuwaiti guy was like ohh it's nothing, my friend pressed it and the RPM did vooooom...hahahaha...
then the kuwaiti guy said well ok ok, i'll remove it...
we went for the race, rolling 30km till 200km....
he jumped for the first 2 gears by finder cause he had 16" wheels and we had 17".... then i went ahead by a finder in 4th gear when i went red line for few secs, he went ahead again by a finder, i shifted to 5th and pulled him back but slowly slowly...
his car was fast, and it was not easy to beat....
then we parked and had a friendly chat, took some pics, and left our 2nd country kuwait...
we really had fun...
