Suggestion : GulfGt if possible makes a car show and gather money, clothes or anything for these people who are in pain and suffering as we speak. Any small contribution will make alot difference for others and you will gain "thawab".

It will be good publicity stunt for GulfGt - as well as do something good for people who are in need.

Urge you to think of it and do it.

i totally agree with your suggestion. I personally will be the first person to come forward along with other members and moderators to arrange a charity event for these poor people.

you see, in places like iraq and palestine... they are facing anhilation everyday. Thay dont have anyone they can look up to to help them, they dont have a government thats in a shape to help them. They genuinely need help!

while here...... hahahahah you are right! There are people who need help. Not because they are being attacked by foreign invaders, not because their country is at war, not because of sanctions, not because of deseases that are spreading and they dont have the means to medical treatment......

Because they live in a country where mother****ers steal money and neglect the poor! Because they would rather build 200,000 dinar clock towers in the middle of nowhere rather than invest it in sending 10 students on scholarship. They give 6 mllion dinars away to parliament members in a way to bribe them, rather than letting them prove themselves and investing that money in health!

Because they live in a country where they are forced to insure themselves and hope for a pension fund when they retire, and find out that that money has been swallowed up! Because they live in a country where alot... and i mean alot of people dont earn their keeps cause of who they are! Well you know what, their may have been enough money to go around 20 years ago, but it aint the case NO MORE! The economy is doing shiiit and they dont want people to know.....

Let the poor people live like shiit while most of the country's earnings are swallowed up! Big fish get bigger, while the smaller fish DIE!

Thats why i would rather send money to iraq or palestine or poorer countries, cause i know HERE, there are people who should help, and WILL help one day whether they like it or not!:motz2:

I thank all for their honest reply and their willingness in helping.

I was thinking the other day, if we are more than 500 members in GulfGt, this is BD 500 if each paid a dinar (although I suggest more). You might think this is a low amount but trust me this could make couple of families in Iraq live for a month. I have not yet included the amount of people who are gonna come.

Yes there are poor people in bahrain as Silver arrow suggested but their numbers are low compared to the poor Iraq's who are dying.
Also for your information "Silver SS", some don't give a **** therefore I had to come up with a strategy and say that it would be a publicity stunt but I see their are members with hearts that are more willing to help which is more than I expected to be honest.

people , lets work faster here , here my suggestion a car show and donation in a big place , like in alfateh mosque or so , we arrange everthing , spread the info a week before to all threeds , and do it , what do u say guys...:bigok:

Red Arrow - I suggest some where closed in order to charge people of entrance, something like 0.500 otherwise people will jump from all over the place.

I was thinking something like Seef Car park......upstairs in the building where we could reserve an entire floor or two which has one access which is the lifts but doubt they will give it to us unless someone has "wasta".
