Japenese car mags sometimes provide the juiciest of news for us Yanks to drool over. Take these scans from an unnamed Japanese car mag that show Nissan's upcoming GT-R. The pictures look a bit photoshopped, as they differ from spy shots we've seen of the car testing at the Nurburgring in Germany and elsewhere in the world. The car in these pics is much more aggressive with an extra intake for rear brake cooling behind the doors and accompanying vent behind the wheel wells. The rear wing is also larger and a more serious looking affair.

Then again, the GT-R will come in three flavors, standard, V-Spec and EVO, so most of these shots may be showing the GT-R EVO trim that ups the car's aggression by a factor of ten. The translation of the article accompanying these photos tell us that the standard GT-R will start at $57,000 and feature a 480-horsepower version of the VQHRTT. Whether or not the twin-turbo V6 is 3.7L or 3.8L large wasn't mentioned. The V-Spec GT-R, meanwhile, will start at $67,000, while the top perfroming EVO spec will begin at $94,000 and feature a 530-horsepower version of the VQHRTT engine while shedding 220 lbs. from the car's overall weight through the use of lighter seats, ceramic rotors and the like.

530hp and lost 220lbs is gonna be a fckin beast...it looks mean, very aggressive and ready to eat you!! but i dont like the intakes behind the rear fender, and the wing looks ugly from rear and ok from the side, i hope they change it to something smaller to make it a bit simpler in also in CF, and add a CF roof to loose more weight

This car will be boring. Want to know why? It will have too much power to start with, and it wont be focused on tuning like the R34 was. At the ridiculous price they are expecting to sell it for, not many will afford to buy it, especially in the import tuning scene. I would rather buy a Z06 than buy this if that is what they expect to sell it for!

man looking hot, and as far a tunning garanteed it will be tunning friendly i mean look at how they did the Z tune, Nissan knows this is car for modders just like the 350Z, and i rember magazines in the UK saying the same thing about the 350 before it came out, "oh its gonna be to complicated to tune bla bla bla" yet here in bahrain we have 2+ twin turbo versions, nissan knows what it is doing, Nismo will be striaght in there along with HKS and all the other brands it will be a race for each company to find the ulimate setup for each disciplin I.E drag, track, street and so on

Some times I say this is just ridiculous !!!! we will get the EVO skyline, woo Corvette with 600hp !! , and now even Ford are considering a new mustang with 600hp (with warranty) and 720hp(without warranty) !!

Maaan who needs those cars this fast ?? if it's needed to be this fast that's why U can find the tuner shops !! that's there job !! not the original company, it's kinda cool to get all this power from the factory kinda un cool

By the way ADM even old skylines were waaay too expensive they still managed to find buying customers !! not talking customers !!

Those are different. They were made for that sort of thing. This car is expected to be a perfect technological masterpiece.

I personally don't like it one little bit, and prefer the R34 over it any day.

i think that is a great point, people should stop worrying about what others think, i think people who buy cars to impress others are lame, i met one of my dads friends from dubai one day, (my dad told me prior to meeting the guy that he was a billionaire) so my first thoughts were massive manshion and millions of crazy cars, when i got their he had a very descret house, and he only owns one car a 2003 BMW X5, and he has no plans to upgrade it as it suits him fine,

his son is the same he only owns and drives one car, bently gt but if he chose to he could have a car for every day of the week, and his bently is oneof the early ones too,

wish more ppl would just buy cars they want and not worry about others thoughts, cause their will all ways be one person to say that car doesnt suit you or what ever,
