This 1% really really sucks. I dont mind helping poor people but not knowing where my money ends up is unfair. I still dot know how they are achieving this system. In Islam Shar3an its 7aram to take money from people without their consent. We have zikat and khoms but that is paid at our own free wil.
Plus the biggest reason i'm against this 1% is that i dont appreciate the fact that we all work very hard and in the end we pay for a lazy asssss jobless to pay for his drinking and drugs habit.:banghead:

bloodline are u stupid? we have an average salary of around 300 or 350 in bahrain... GOOL even if it was 500 and multiply that by 700,000 people (and remember, not all of them are working), so at a very extreme calculation you have 350 million of which 1 percent is 3.5... and more realistically they probably collected something closer to 1.5 million or so...

and theres no figures in the news. and since when did bahrain news give out reliable data?!?!?

ive been taxed upto around 45% in the US... 1% doesnt mean jack if its gonna benefit people.. problem is, its not going anywhere to help anyone...
