since zex brought up the topic of lightspeed, ive been wanting to ask about the ego connection from MTC vodafone.

seems nice and saves me the hassle of going for the batelco connection,

just buy the device, plug it and connect..3an 3awaar el raas

any1 using it?, people with mtc numbers have bad reception at my flat, will the device being from vodafone as well have a bad reception and be irritating to use?

feedback plz :D

ego isn't very good if you're gonna be downloading or using the net a lot. its limited according to your usage, but unlike batelco, whose speed reduces after u reach your limit, you get charged for the extra usage. so that kinda sucks because your bill will never stay at a fixed rate (again, unless you dont use much)
connection isnt superior, unless youre in a good location. but overall, if you need a connection and you move around a lot, its a good idea. i dont recommend it for a primary connection just yet

Its quite fine for browsing, i mean i use it a lot and never really found any problems with it, it is also handy i nearly used it anywhere except for places where connection wasnt that good, i open 3-4 windows surfing chating and it does pretty well.

For downloading its way slow, although i have downloaded adobe photoshop etc online.

If you want you can give it a try as ill be away next week.

although EGO is fine if you were to use it on the go using your 3G mobile phone .

Imagine receiving email and using MSN messenger anywhere u go .
Bad thing the iphone does not come with 3G .

Although you could get good 3G phones on the market starting
from BD 140
