the graphic card i choose is not top of the line but it really kicks ass if ur gonna SLI it .. get two and u will have the best 2nd graphic card performance in the world .. it beats the 8800GTX which is currently number 2 in the world and costs 230BD

i know what u mean, the thing is that im addicted to high graphics resolutions plus the DD5.1 system :p lazim i play the game with its full potential or else i wouldnt see/hear it as good. and with a PC and all the applications running, i doubt u'll get the same performance as a game dedicated console like the X360 or PS3.

i love the mouse and keyboard for first, and third person shooters. its easier than the gamepad which is harder shway. but u'll learn to love it eventually :p

i have 4gb on my machine.. and u can utilize it

if ur running a 32bit OS such as regular XP or vista x32.. then u only utilize 3.5gb of ram

if u install XP x64 or Vista X64.. then it sees and can use all 4gb of ram

they're even good for gaming! 256mb dedicated video cards.. centrino duo, latest chipsets u name it

except they ONLY run vista... most of the hardware doesn't even have a XP driver version..

it's not going to be an ideal gaming platform..

and the amount u spend on a "gaming laptop"

Has anyone of you heard of XPS desktops?

http://www.dell.com/content/products/productdetails.aspx/xpsdt_720h2c?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs

The only thing the reviews moan about is the price and the noise, which I don't think you will be bothered if you are playing games on a sound system on high blast, because you wont hear it!

And, its DELL. Its almost impossible to break!

I had a watercooled system.. I built it myself using parts from a hardware store..

it deffinately made things run cooler... but more importantly.. it ran MUCH quieter...

my 60mm fan on my heatsink now runs at 6,500 rpm... it's a screamer! ppl think i'm vacuuming in my room.. or a hair dryer...

having a large 120mm turning at ~1,000 rpm pushed same air at much quieter levels...

from the 2 days I used it now ( vista ultimate ) :

- the new Internet Explorer is just rubbish in many ways !!! like errors !!!

- had a hard times until I fixed my wireless headset !!!
- some programs still work the XP ... so I have to wait ( not really ... I still have my prev. PC in the room ... Viva La XP !!! )
- take so much PC power just for the GUI .... I can change that but I'll keep it like this until I install the big games
- alot of options are in different places now ... mmm ... that's not a big problem .... but why to change that ???
- there is some options I don't know to deal with thim .... but I think it need just a quik search in the help
- XP was working fine with me !!!! and still !!!

still didn't install the new office .... bcoz I didn't take it from my friend yet ... maybe 2mrw or so
