For all you computer geeks out there...

I'm currently looking for the best antivirus out today - what do you advise? I'm currently using Panda Antivirus which is pretty good but its about to expire and i've heard there are better ones around.

Used Norton and McAfee in the past and hated them.

Any suggestions?

Thanks a million.

I don't use anti-virus programs, and my laptop runs as good as it did the day I took it out of the box. I have never had any problems, and I don't have a firewall enabled either.

Every computer I have used that had an anti-virus system was slow and kept freezing or breaking down or acting stupid for no reason.

I think McAfee is better though. Came installed on my system, kept it for a month, and then I removed it.

I personally see no point in them, and if you ask me, I think the anti-virus program just randomly pops up telling u it has stopped a hacker from accessing your computer just to pretend that its doing a good job and to keep you happy.

Must be the scam of the computer industry.

the free AVG sucks , get the shareware one and crack it :D

or get kaspersky , just don't forget to set the performance on Meduim , high makes the computer work like it's a VTEC (no offence VTEC lovers :D) and low works like the same engine with VTEC :D

NOD32 is good aswell
