Go Turbo or Not

Ok guys! I have got a good deal on a turbo! :naughty:

Should i go turbo? I know it will be very nice, but the tunning will just kill me!

I will need a new set of heads too to do it right!

So, what do you think?

With Turbos you will fly... but it's to much headache... wht not just ad a Supercharger:naughty:

go for the turbo, u well get more boost then the supercharger, if u want to think about the headache whiule tuning; then u well be very happy with your results

here's some real questions:

what kinda car is it?

what kinda engine?

how many Horsepower is your Goal?

what tranny?

do u plan on building up the engine or not? (i.e. valvetrain pistons rods etc)

what about ECU?

Intercooler?

depending on your drivetrain, if it's FWD u may havta cancel your AC to make room for the Turbine..


u may need fuel management as well: Injectors,fuel regulator,fuel rail,fuel pump...

answer some of these question and i can help u out, to achieve some crazy Power:lildevil:

The guy gave me a very good deal, so what the heck. But I don’t think I will install it anytime soon. It is just very nice to have! :naughty:

But man, I love my nitrous system! For goma there is no substitute! :lildevil:

advice for u :kid: if your ever going to use forced induction your engine you have to think bout this,the pressure on all the engine becasue the cylinders will not be able to cope witht the added pressure and will end up giving less power from what u could get so you will need:
1)new cylinder shafts
2)new cylinder heads
etc,etc
the list goes on you dont wanna fcuk your enigne up,so other things need to be strengthened first to take the pressure.

freelander, turbos in bahrain is just a bad idea... the supercharger is more suited to here, and its less of a hassle! and i dunno where you buy your turbo's/super's from, but at a lot of places, you can get the super for about the same price, maybe a little less too...
