Hi guys
I own LS2 Manual gear and i'm into swapping my almost gone clutch
But not sure
I have found 2 options to go for
Their are Aluminum Flywheel and Aluminum Pressure plate across all stages of power handling
I have asked around and some told me that aluminum is going to wear up fast and it my get melted if throw high mods in the car... and using it regular it will give vibration when shifting
the good advantage it's less weight....
any suggestions or experience from someone who used aluminum in place of Steel....

get a light weight steel aluminum and center force II clutch/disk dont put a highly grip clutch while u are around 450hp because you wont need that much clutch grip a center force II is fine for streets

i have a 380rwhp Manual SS with Stage2 SPEC clutch and SPEC Aluminum Flywheel. its beautiful :)
the aluminum flywheel is simply for those who want a more responsive engine with the clutch disengaged. reducing the rotating mass of the flywheel helps your car gain a tiny bit of speed (the same as throwing out the other seats in the car, or other such weight reduction), but the main benefit is in getting an engine which can change rpm more easily allowing you to change between gears more quickly. the only disadvantage is that from a stop it can be a little harder to engage as there's less mass in the engine full of energy to help the car forward. most people who've gotten this kind of flywheel haven't reported it as being any harder at all, and the results have been universally positive :)
just my 0.02fils :)
