Compression Ratio is 11
Bore x Stroke is 81.0 x 77.0

u need to lower the compression ratio to 9.1 or seomthing like that after that u can turbo charged it

thanks for replaying
do u mean that i should lower the cr by changing the pistons?

Bro, at least tell us what are your goals so we can help you but asking random questions will not take you anywhere.
First of all what os your budget?
what are your goals?
are you going to use the car on the road or race only?
what are you racing? Drag? Track? Sprint?
Are you going to dig inside the onternals?
what are your boost goals?

yes u need a dished pistons
lol.. hahahahha thats some funny ****, 7adda american mentality!!
dished pistons dont mean that the compression is lower.. the RB26 comes with low compression and dome pistons!

because ur ruinning what the 4AG was built for.. high compression, high revving.
there is no way in hell u can turbo a high compression motor on stock internals.. ur gonna have to put in some low compression pistons, and change the rods and bearings while ur at it since they wont be able to handle the extra punch. other than that.. ur gonna have to run a really small turbo.. there is no way in hell the 4AGE can spool a T4 turbo.. let alone a medium sized T3!! u might be able to spool a 16G out of an evo.. but, because of the small size of the exhaust housing, the turbo will die off at high RPM's and u wont have alot of power up top, the whole motor will loose its character!!
keep it NA.. let those ITB's scream.. oh and other than that.. ur gonna have to install a whole new metal intake manifold, since the plastic one on ur black top 4A cant handle more than 5 psi!

goal: just want littel power..
budget: 500 to 700
use: daily drive
internals: seems to be need changing them
boost: 5 to 9

what ever u said is comming from good experiance not same others ( my friends ) they just say go ahead turbo it with out changing any thing..
as you said it needs alot off things , what i saw in america they use 4az ( super charger one) pistons ..
no need off all this if i 'll turbo it i'll swap 3sgte:dance:
thanks

we as you have been told, turbocharing a high CR N/A is not for the people with little experience and low budget, infact many things can go wrong if you dont know what you are going into, and from experience I say, you will have to do so many things ur self with your own hands, or else it will cost you alot to have some one doing it.
we have turbocharged a 2002 Celica GT-S, and its doing fine so far, still with stock CR and engine internals, car has a $1400 turbogoods manifold, a 44mm Tial WG, a GT2871R BB Garrett turbocharger, 2 points cooler plugs, greddy BOV, a Precision FMIC, Emanage ultimate to add fuel and retard timing, Cusco LSD, Rotora huge brakes, Koni, hotchkis, lambo doors, body kit etc....... we will rebuild the engine with new sleeves, forged low CR pistons, higher profile cams, Apexi standalone, forged rods, and a GT crankshaft, but we build it with the stock engine to make sure and solve any pbms we might face with low boost before we go into deeper plans.
so back to you, 5-7psi is doable with the right intercooler, T4 is a wrong choice as u were told, u have to check your fuel, so fuel pressure to tell if pump is ok or needs upgrade, air fuel mixture to find out if you need bigger injectors or what, i have no idea about how aggressive is the timing on ur car but from what I hear the higher the engine can revs, the lighter the internals and that might mean more fragile it would be ti with stand boost.
I have turbocharged a VW 1.8L 16v engine before with stock internals, I ran 12psi all day for years with stock CR, and FMIC, 270cc injectors, SMT6 piggyback from perfectpower, retarded timing abit, other ran VW engine with just extra injectors and a pressure switch to add fuel under boost, its a crude way but it worked with them we have to check where these ppl are located and how is the weather in their area of the world.
in other words, read and read and read, till you really learn and understand what is involved in turbocharging then go into it, or else you will lose ur money and will miss the joy that you had to have with ur car.
PEACE
NAB
