From now on I will be referring to the murror as the bast*rds.

I still do not have plates for my cars. I did everything they asked for, I paid all the fees, I passed the test, I got the papers signed by 12 dozen people, finished all the forms. And now the bast*rds want a paper they don't know the name of it is. (Supposidly a paper from the country I shipped the cars from) so they can wipe their stinking azzes with it.

All while my cars are collecting dust and tires going flat.

Does anyone know what paper those sobs want?

guys that shipped a car from outside maybe you could help me out?

Designo's comment.

Why not e-mail the traffic department back in CH and ask them to mail you a copy of the certificate? Make sure its in English. English is hard enough for the people at the traffic department to read, let alone French or German :duh:

car is imported from Switzerland.

ADM do I have to go to the traffic department? there has to be another way. certificate of purchase maybe from the dealer? or the shipping company can produce such documents?

You have to get a letter from the Traffic Department in Switzerland to certify that your car was registered there prior to being shipped to Bahrain, so that the Bahrain Traffic Department can confirm where the car has come from.

In a way, its to prevent stolen cars being imported and registered in Bahrain.

Just get a letter from the place you got the car from. If it was your there, then the freight forwarder can arrange the letter for you in their bill of lading.

If you bought it from a cupplier there, then they should provide that certificate for you.

I owned the cars when I was there. And I already gave them the mulkeya.
Which is a paper issued from the Swiss traffic department saying that I own the cars with the following chassis number.

thats the worst department i ever seen, if i would ever go to the murroor or any minstry i would take a whole day off, otherwise things will never happen there.
