are you talking the price of new vehicles? generally you won't really find much of a difference, maybe a few hundred dinars more or less. Anyway, if you're staying there for the long term, you might as well get one there since you'll have the dealer and warranty for service etc...
if you're talking used, well the prices are again very similar, a little cheaper in qatar for certain cars.
anyway, what are you doing there? new job? hook us up!

u'd be suprised..
toyota's in KSA are generally 1000-1,500bd cheaper in than bahrain..
and if Qatar is NOT pegged to the crappy dollar.. the price gap will be even greater..

well, more inclined to go for a second hand car at the moment to keep running costs down.
I'm working for a software company here , so we recently started a branch in qatar, so i get to look after the biz there :D .

well, second hand market isnt TOO great a difference, like i said depending on what u want to get, say if your paying between 5-10 thousand there might be a few hundred dinars difference, but not much more. I say get a rental first week or two while your there, look around and get a feel for the prices. If u find a good deal, go for it, otherwise get a car from bahrain. Its only a few hours drive from here anyway.
Otto, thats true of the saudi new car market for most vehicles actually, and u get free service for the first few years too!
