yeah, youre crazy, i applaud your sense of adventure.

anyway, there are like 10 car rent places in the airport, make sure your license aint expired and youre fine. if one doesnt agree, you have another 9 to choose from. also, you have both batelco and zain shops in the airport soon as you exit so you can get whatever sim cards you need from there...

i dunno about 3 star hotels but you can try elite 2 in zenj, a one bedroom appt is 30BD a night. Tel # +973-17722111.
