The concept T, as it is termed, is powered by a 241 horsepower V6, which sends power through VW’s 4MOTION all-wheel drive to the wheels. That V6 is good for a 0-60 run of 6.9 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 144 mph.
With those respectable performance features, Volkswagen goes as far as calling the concept T a sports car…perhaps that’s a bit of a stretch. But that would make this vehicle the embodiment of the latest “crossover” idea. Except this time, instead of finding a cross between a sport utility vehicle and a wagon, we have a cross between an off-road vehicle and a sports car.
