A friend ofmine just got a GT from the Wekala the latets model it was one that was one of the 3 -5 that were ordered through the wekala.The car is been driving in the Bahraini roads lately.

i7lif? u think i dont know that? ive been readin' bout the GTR since the first sketches of the concept came out. Its not like im gonna hook it up with twin 3240's am i?

According to Mine's, The GTR's transmission can handle upto 630 pounds of torque ( which is impressive for a seq-auto tranny ). The parts that'll be installed in my GTR will be minor mods, and im very sure it'll give ur ''purple haze'' a very hard time to catch up and pass even when my car is in stock form, u will pass after u shift to 4th half way to 5th, not 3rd.

Dont forget, i'll have perfect 3sec to 62mph launches every time i use the LC feature, and ull be complainin' bout ur burnt clutch. I'll have a gearbox that will shift in 0.2sec and ull be miss shifting 3rd as usual. I'll have perfect suspension settings from Nissan, wind tunneled tested aero parts and car. U'll suffer to catch up bro while ill be comfortable in a heavy car, a/c blowing my afro, leather seats that'll keep my bum in total comfort, scrollin' my tunes that r bumpin' thro the Bose system, and feeling safe while racing. And i dont know how u call a 7:29sec 'Ring car, ''Dalee3''.

The difference between the GT-R and the Corvette, is that the Corvette is based on mechanical engineering, and relies solely on basic engineering technology and still beats everything else.

All the other cars show up with their fancy suspension and NASA computers so they can calculate how to adjust the car in every turn just so it can keep up.

The demand is high for the GTR, thats why they are over priced at the moment, when the GCC spec comes out ull expect a bit higher price tag than the ZO6.

I had other choices, like go for the GT3 RS or non RS, 997 Turbo, or if i wanna go in kash5a/performance mode i'd go for the S8 or the M5.. but the thing is Porsche just introduced us to its new face lift and a new gearbox ( PDK ) like the DSG that shifts 60% faster than the normal Tiptronic and its very tempting to buy one, but i already have a Porsche so thers no point of buying another one and honestly Porsche's are becoming like taxi's nowadays, they r everywhere so it aint unique no more and doesnt feel like a real Porsche ( the 993 Turbo ). I was nearly going to buy an M5 but they r changing it soon so no point. So when i heard that the GTR has arrived and they r ready for orders i changed my mind soo fast cuz ive been waiting for this for 6 years and its finally here and not buy one?, so i did, and im very happy with the choice i made cuz im into handling much more than just going fast in a str8 line.

yes the vettes were using leaf springs from ages and IRS they are very good for daily drive/street strip use and you can lower the car in home I dont think using leaf springs is a big joke its much much better than coil springs you will worry about the coil springs if they bend over or the time comes and they come weak the only thing you change in leaf springs is the rubber and thats it

Trust me, as much as I love the R35 GT-R, from a rolling race, the z06 would beat the GT-R for sure !

Yes,

rolling=good traction for both

gearing=Won't matter much after 3rd gear

The z06 will pull ahead !

On best motoring, when they put the 997tt vs the z06

From zero .. the 997tt jumps ahead and after 3rd gear the 997 starts to pull away and away from the z06, which was very weird

In real life here, in several occasions, the z06 rapes the 997tt when both are almost stock from a rolling race, from zero the Z06 also beats the 997tt but with a much less gap, obviously cause of traction issues in the beginning, but it makes us later in the race when it catches up to the 997 at around 180 km

The z06's first gear is till 100kms almost


If the z06 lines up with a 997tt and a GT-R ..let's say from a rolling 80-100km or more, where traction is not an issue for all 3 cars (obviously the 997 n GT-R have no traction problems, both are 4wd)

The outcome would be Z06 > GT-R > 997tt
