well.. after my dad sold the wavebreaker.. ive got no fancy boat of my own so.. im thinking of getting me a Jet boat.. kinda like a big 4 seater jet skit.. but, much more.. since ill be able to use it for my watersport hobbies.. waterskying, Spearfishing, Scuba Diving. i know some of might say "but u already have a boat", well.. the other one is for a different purpose.. and its not a good looking boat either.. its just for fishing and going long distances.. getting the jet boat will be for close places, like qi63at jarada.. and i usually do my diving close and in shallow waters around reefs.. a conventional outboard motor equiped boat cant go there sometimes.. thats why im gonna need something with an inboard motor.. and a 4 stroke 215 supercharged inline 4 is more than enough!! the boat comes with a load of great specs as standard.. including a clarion sound system with 2 subwoofers with cd and mp3 input.. great storage space.. electricity jacks.. navigational lights.. chrome lining.. auto bilge pumps.. built in cooler for the drinks!!

heres some info about the boat..

Sea Doo 150 Speedster

"Razor-sharp" is too dull for handling like this.
It’s difficult to find another boating experience quite like this one. Taking full advantage of its compact 15-foot (4.67 meter) frame, the 150 Speedster model is able to pull off maneuvers that other boaters can only watch with envy. With an incredibly tight feel at the helm, even the slightest movement of the wheel triggers an immediate response, both in handling and in heart rate. Powered by your choice of a 215 hp or 155 hp Rotax engine, carving up the water aboard this nimble vessel is something that can only be described as uniquely exhilarating.

The 2007 SeaDoo 150 Speedster Sport Boat is one of the funnest toys to have out on the water. The speedster's tight feel at the
helm and extreme agility deliver unbelievably quick response time. Add on bold graphics and the optional wakeboard tower with bimini top and your ready to rock. The 150 speedster fits 4, comes with a 215 hp supercharged, intercooled or 155 hp Rotax 4-TEC engine, clarion stereo system and much more.

well.. i dont alot about these boats.. but i see them going around jarada and around falkland all the time.. does anyone know if theyre a good choice?? or is it just a waste of money?? and it would be great to get a used one.. does anyone know howmuch they go for?? the MSRP on the site is 16,000$ which isnt that bad.. but, if i could get my hands on a used one and save some dosh.. why not?

You must love the sea. Well, just riding it seems really fun. I'll ask my friend, maybe there's something similar laying around. Good luck bro

Its nice if you're a solitary guy or just taking your girl out! Other than that, you're better off with a nice cruiser instead!

Have you checked used scarabs?

:nutkick:
the challanger is too big for what i need.. i already have a 27 foot boat with twin 115's for long distances and fishing.. so, im gonna need something small.. and the 150 speedster is the smallest out of the sea doo jet boats..

my friend has a challenger.. a great boat i must say, but.. over my budget.. unless u know a used one for sale.

actually.. they usually swap out the engines for 13b's.. rotary engines are chosen because of their small size, light weight, and power.

now im thinking.. imagine popping a rotor seal in the middle of the sea!!

That's a pretty cool jetboat buddy, a pal of mine has got one and its wonderful and lots of fun....

but there is one little problem... its a single engine ...
and our waters are not too clean... lots of garbage and peices of wood floating around the sea. if any of those gets sucked in to the engine you'll be stranded all alone at sea.

the guy that owns one of these always stays close to shore or has another boat joining him for longer trips incase anything does get sucked in the jet.

if you want to go on trips on your own get yourself a twin engined one .... like a seadoo speedster 200 or 230
430 bhp .....

i've bought a speedster 200 a few months back and its amazing ... looks like a ferrari at sea

well.. i usually take a radio and GPS with me when im going out to places with no phone signal.. but, yeah.. the single engine thing is kinda bugging me.. and 200 and 300 are out of my budget.

ive found a yamaha jetboat with twin 110's, problem is..first.. i dont like yamaha boats, i find them cheap and flimsy.. second, i dont like 2 stroke motors since they drink alot of fuel.. and it comes with a 70 liter gas tank, and not alot of storage space for extra tanks.

yeah thats the first thing u ask.. mraga3??? its like asking if a car was in an accident.

im talking about the motors.. 2 stroke inboard jet motors.. does anyone know anything about these?? i mean.. usually when im interested in something i read alot and join forums just to see what im getting myself into.. the thing is, the forums for these things arent that big and supportive.. ill have to do most of the researching the old way.... asking!

congrats, you will have fun with that jet boat. but why order it from the States. The dealer in Sitra sell the 150 speedster for around the same price, and I think they had 2 in stock.

I also like the 200 speedster, but those are sold out. they go for around 15k, which is overpriced.
