if it happend while you're going to/leaving from/during your work, then you shud be compensated even if you didn't have insurance, because the company should already be paying insurance for itself "it doesn't have to pay on individuals, but as a whole including you as an asset.. unless they're not insured at all".

when i was @ my 2nd job, i flipped up-side-down in a mini bus while taking a computer monitor to a workshop. long story short, the mini-bus was cancelled and the manager compensated me by an increment of BD20. and i was happy about it, because by that time i didnt know the rules and that i'm illegible for compensation.

if you got friends who knows the law, get in-touch with them, give them the details and see how it goes.
