My new born baby is really sick...

Hey everyone,

Last week Allah blessed me with my baby girl, Oleen, but two days ago after only being in the world for 8 days doctors did open heart surgery on her. She was diagnosed with Tetrology Fallot - abscence of a pulminary valve. Her left lung was also collapsed due to an oversized artery and her Aorta was also oversized as well as her heart being oversized, approximately the same size as an eight year olds heart. The 7 hour surgery was a success and she is recovering in the ICU but the rest is all upto her and god from now on.

I was extremely devastated when i found out and i havent had more than two hours of sleep for the past 10 days. I dont know what to do i just keep praying and inshallah she will pull through.

Thanks for the support guys, allah yesma3 minkom inshallah. I have alot of plans for her but i think i got myself into trouble. I went to see her in the ICU last night and i was talking to her, i promised her an Aston Martin and i swore i could have seen a smile on her face! My wife said i should start saving from now.

Al7amdillah she is getting better, i spoke to the doctor last night and he said they they are reducing the oxygen percentage on the respitory machine and she is responding well. They are also reducing the medication and she is responding well to that as well. The nurses told me they dont want to keep her sedated bas they have to because she keeps trying to pull all the tubes and monitors off her. Na7eesa nafs abooha.

I will definitely be bringing her to the meets inshallah. Allah ya36eeha wa ya36eekom el3afya inshallah wa yesma3 ad3eeyatkom inshallah.

So how are things in bahrain? Any gossip from the underground racing scene?

Last night i saw one of those turbocharged Daihatsu's take out a second gen Lumina SS! The look on the Lumina guy's face was priceless!

Aston Martin has always been my dream car, ever since i went for a ride in one in the UK when i was in Boarding School.

I am in Saudi, the reason being that the hospitals in Bahrain are crap. Awali hospital told me that my daughter only had an irregular heartbeat and that it was a little large and they referred me to the BDF which is the only hospital in Bahrain that has an Eco fetal scan, heart scan while the baby is still in moms stomach, and the only doctor that is qualified to use it was on vacation.

Thanks to Dr. Yousif Al-Hadad in the Bahrain Ministry of Health, SAAD hospital in Khobar offered to do the 30,000 Dinar surgery for free where as the BDF said they wanted me to pay 45,000. The hospital here in Saudi is amazing.

Thanks guys, allah yesmag minkom inshallah.

I went to see her last night. the hospital called me at like 1:30am and i freaked out! they told me she was awake and wanted to know if i wanted to see her. I drove down there like a maniac in my PJ's!! The security guys in the hospital looked at me like "Ishfee hatha!? Ma3inda theeyab!"

Anyway after i walked into the ICU, scrubbed my hands, and put on the sterile uniform i was greeted with a pair of the most beautiful eyes i had ever seen. I couldnt take pictures because of all the sensitive equipment but it was priceless. El 7amdillah. I spent like 2 hours with her holding her hand until she went to sleep after that it was back home on the sajada thanking god and Zeeyarat Imam Hussain till morning prayer.

I just want to say to everyone Allah ya7fethkom wa yeb3ad 3ankom el Shar, thank you for all the support guys and a big thanks to my bosses who have been more than understanding in this whole matter.
