562 hp and 540 lb.-ft. of torque at the wheels

Serious Nissan GT-R tuners aren't coming out of the woodwork – yet – but one of Japan's largest aftermarket firms has thrown its hat into the ring, and to good effect. HKS will begin offering its GT570 kit to consumers in Japan later this year (no word on U.S. distribution) and as it's name implies, output is getting close to the 600 hp mark. The package includes new wastegate actuators for the stock turbos and an electronic boost controller, along with aluminum intercooler piping, silicon hose couplers and straight pipes that replace the stock catalytic converters, reducing back pressure, but negating the GT-R's road-legal status.

All of those tweaks add up to a total of – you guessed it – 570 PS, or 562 hp and 540 lb.-ft. of torque at the wheels. Check the gallery below to see the dyno charts and a few shots of the wastegate and plumbing mods.

I hope the 350z's engine can take it, plus r35 owners are facing tranny problems at stock power level, so I guess nissan will be more than happy to change gears for customers soon :D

link me.

I wanna know what sort of tranny problems, cuz none of the GTR's above the first 1000 produced have had problems in stock or even slightly modded.

And the ppl that have the car have warranty with it, so yeah, they get a free tranny when it breaks.

I know about MCR's problem. But this is not what i wanted. You said that owners are having tranny problems at stock power levels. I wanna see whats up with that, not MCR's or HKS's cars.

And FYI, gtr.co.uk is 'ish comapred to Nagtroc.org

gtr.co.uk is for the Skyline guys. The new GTR section they have is 3ady, not that much info.

Raised boost on the stock twins is still stock ..Exhaust, filter etc etc don't add much power

raising boost means adding a modified ECU or PnP which leaves it nonstock. We are talking about 60-80whp gains without exhausts and filters... Thats not much? Thats stock?

Edit: power gains with exhaust will get u upto 60-80whp.

Here's the best upgrade for the GTR

The AccessPORT is the most user friendly reprogramming device for your vehicle's computer. The provided mapping will optimize the air/fuel ratio and ignition timing, remove the speed limiter, and more for performance results you can instantly feel!

But the AccessPORT is so much MORE than just a REFLASH DEVICE. It allows you to also read any of the DTC (trouble) codes on the various computers on the GT-R as well as clear them out of memory (reset them).

* Stage 1 (standard, or standard w/ cat back exhaust):
o 91 Octane Fuel (US) - +55 hp and +60 lb/ft torque
o 93 Octane Fuel (US) - +63 hp and +70 lb/ft torque

* Stage 2 (hi-flow cats or no cats and cat back exhaust):
o 91 Octane Fuel (US) - +65 hp and +80 lb/ft torque
o 93 Octane Fuel (US) - +70 hp and +90 lb/ft torque

And thats with 93 octane, with UAE's 98 octane and UK's 102, u'll be somewhere near 10 - 15 more hp gain.

UK use 95 at all pumps, Tesco sells both 95 98, and only SHELL sells over 100.

+1
but all cars makers are introducing more and more automanual cars. I guess after 2012 there will be no more manual car (maybe lotus would be the only one, cuz they still making all there cars with manual)
