Project Land Rover

hey guys. I need your help here
I wanna start a project car as soon as I come home for the holidays (which is a pretty long time). I have decided to choose Land Rover because they are my favourite offroad specialist car manufacturers (Where can u find tough cars like the Discovery, Defender, and the Range Rover) anyways I'm trying to choose the best powerplant option

1-RPI's 5.2 V8 (http://www.rpiv8.com/Range-Rover-Hse.htm). these engines do an average of 350 HP and 385 LB/FT all in the 5K RPM range :eyecrazy:
2-Chevy small-block V8: Preferably a LS1 with torque mods
3-BMW's 4.4 V8: Fits perfectly onto the transmission and would make for an interesting conversion

Now the three cars I had in mind are

1-My RANGE ROVER
2-98-02 Discovery Series 2
3-Defender 90 Xtreme

so jus tell me which engine would u choose and the car poll will b posted later on

a chevy v8 with torque mods will be quite a challenging conversion but it would be fun, ill work with u on it if u want... why dont u put it in a defender the bodies are lighter and theyre much more rugged and easier to play around with

anyways back to the topic now. The reason I started this thread is because this guy kinda inspired me with his Volvo restoration (http://www.caranddriver.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=50337&sessionID=588FA3CFEFBE49378811518FA52E033F). although Volvos aren't meant for restoration IMO

let me be broad with you. the next time you see that shiny new SL55 or 645Ci, think for a second about the nationalty of that driver. You'd be surprised if he/she turned out to be INDIAN or LEBANESE coz honestly they're the hard workers in the U.A.E. look at Emirates, the reason they're growig so fast is that little of their senior employees are originally EMARATIS, in fact you'd e surprised to find out there are alot of BAHRAINIS there. Ahlam is a big hit because she started her carrier in U.A.E (not that anyone gives a **** about her) and SHE'S NOT EVEN EMARATI. ilzibda enna emaratis are freeloading worthless pieces of s&%te.

ya know there hasn't been a single culture I haven't met in this college. But u kinda learn alot about ppl. Its like goin around the world in one suburb. (BTW the whole uni itself is covering 3 suburbs alone) I've know Emaratis before U. and trust me they think we're the most superior of 5aleeji's. The emaratis who come to bahrain are the bored-of-their-life type looking for a great time outside Dubai.

the 90 is sorta lighter but the 110 is tougher
