Ok...

here the thing My car was stolen i got it back in a very bad state....and to repair it costs about BD2500 for Original Parts and not the stolen goods like tv's dvd music system etc which cost BD 3000 apporx....its a 2004 model Mazda 6 and its full comprehensive insurance with RSA insurance company....

but theres a catch in this...my cars insured for BD3800 with the insurance company....so its still inside the range of fixing my car...but the insurance company said if i need to get the parts new from the agent i got to pay 40% of the total amount ths about BD 1000.....now thts one option the other is they will supply me with second parts and they will bare the full cost of repalcement.....

So why should i settle for secondhand parts when my car is full insured and the NEW replacement parts are still inside the insured value of my car..???

They dont evn agree to pay for the things tht where stolen since its not original and they want me to pay BD1000 for the repair soo my total loss is gonna be over BD 4000......now where the justic in that

Why are we insured in full and given a value and when sumting happens they dont give a fuxck about us n jus wana save their money....

Anyone having any tips to tackel this pls adivise...

Thanks......

I don't know how it is in Bahrain

but in USA and Europe

if u want parts in ur car to be insured that weren't part of the original.. they have to be reported to the Company..

so the company has to know about rims, exhaust, TV's DVD etc etc.. with proof from reciepts..and ur insurance price will be higher..

tell them to pay u maximum amount.. and u will fix it yourself.. try to push for more money...

use 2nd hand parts for what u can, and use new when u have to?

the initial quote is always low and usually u can get more

Good luck bro..

if it was insured for 3800 and the repair costs reached 2500 they will usually write it off, because repair costs exceeded 50% of the car amount. what do you want of stolen car anyway, write it off and move on bro. good luck anyway.

if the car is fully insured then there is no reason they should not pay the 2500 to fix the car as long as you have a repair quote from the dealer and a police report for the damage.

Basically they want to only give you 1500 bd. all you can do is try to push them for more, but note that they might not like it and decide to write off the car, and give you the value of the car as of date.

if you're expecting them to get you you're mods back then your dreaming, get your car fixed to the stock state and sell it and move on. I really do feel sorry for you, but there is nothing you can do about it now, and the insurance company should fix your car to what you insured it, but did you have accessory insurance? theft insurance? Vandalism insurance?

be grateful you found your car, many car's end up parted out and sold for spares.

Best way to deal with insurance company is to be stubborn on what you want...
