وقد أثار اكتشاف طلاسم للسحر في فصل بمدرسة في قرية تبعد عن حائل بمسافة 100 كلم الذعر بين الطالبات والمعلمات وكانت المادة السحرية عبارة عن جزء من حيوان ذكر معقود في قطعة شماغ وأخرى من ثوب وشعر امرأة وبه عدة عقد وبجانبه كيس صغير بداخله مسحوق من الفحم وروث الأغنام.
أبلغت المشرفات التربويات هيئة الأمر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر فرع العزيزية ( احد احياء مدينة حائل - شمال السعودية ) وتم إبطال السحر بواسطة رئيس المركز الشيخ عبد الله السرهيد والذي أشار الى ان مادة السحر كانت عبارة عن طلاسم تجعل المرأة تكره زوجها.
