Hi allll

I have blackberry bold and I want to write in arabic and I tried everything but nothing work! I click alt and enter and change it but no use!

if u push the BB button (the one next to the green one) .. scroll down to "switch input language" .. and choose arabic.

once u do that one time only, u can switch between arabic and english by using the aA + Space combination.

whats ur input language selection shortcut?

go to Options > Language

change the settings as follows..

Language: English
Input Language: ألعربية
Voice Dialing Language: English (United States)
Name Display: First Name Last Name
Input Language Selection Shorcut: Shift-Space
Enable Quick Selection: Yes
Notify Me: No

And I tried what u told me but no arabic in there!!!

So, how to get arabic now? The stupid thing that I do have arabic kyebord

take it to the place u got it from, and throw it in their faces and tell them to install arabic or else u get ur money back! :p

when ever u try and use arabic on any device its a bloody mind boggling.......


i have a solution..... don't use Arabic........

by not seeing Arabic on the list, i can only guess that your OS is not Arabic enabled (does not support Arabic)....upgrade your OS and include Arabic during the flash process (upgrade Process).

some bb dont come with arabic installed..

what u'll have to do is get the updater from bb's website and follow the steps one of witch is updating languages.
