thanks for the suggestions guys..
Nosy, the car is a 2003 silverado 5.3L
need to change the spark plugs, trans filter, and a bunch of fluids and oils. also want to check out a noise i've been getting front the front end latley (appears to be one of the belt driven accessories)

can you guys tell me the location of almohandis? i know SS is in salmabad but i thought they only worked on vettes from what i saw before :).

For the Plugs it's a breeze to change all you need is a spark plug socket and anti-seize
And a cold engine.
The fluid 3k can do it or other serves stations and the sound i bet it's a belt tensioner
And you can cut 1 meter of your garden hose and hear through 1 end wile you move it over the suspected sound location.
Saves $$ and fun to work your self and get your hands dirty

Ala'a Mashallah bro you diagnosed the problem from my post in the forum! i got up early this morning and said what the heck lets pop up the hood and dig in!

once i got a wrench on the tesioner it was apparent it was a bit loose, tightened it a notch and fired her up.. and NO SOUND!!!!! i think you are psychic bro!
good thing also is that i found the a/c belt to be a bit worn out so that will be replaced soon.

and yeah guys i totally agree its fun and i do actually enjoy working on my cars.. but the issue sometimes is that i lack two things, tools and time!.. i mean it took me 3 months just to get around to repair the cluster lights and temp gauge.. ( super easy job btw)

btw Ala'a 3k and and bunch of other places didnt want to do the diff fluid and power steering fluid change only oil and tranny.. and they wont change the trans filter either. they will do it for nissans and lexus jeeps but not chevy's lol.

thanks again guys!

I was at work and I used our crystal ball

It’s a common problem the only sound they make is either the belt or the rear wheels loool

Glad I can help you
